Now I really think I’m starting to get the cobwebs off me fingers with this sketch. I feel like the old me is back and doing a real heck of a job on this drawing. Stone Wall Park again was the name that came to me for this drawing. And if you think the character in this drawing has a Victoria Secret look to her, that is because that is where I use a lot of my references from. That website has some very nice pictures to download and there in a very good size too.
Now for this drawing, I happen to go back to some of my old roots when it comes to my drawing style. In this pencil sketch I even bring in my inking techniques also. As you can see in the more shadow areas you can see the very strong almost black line that varies in size. It’s very controlled and that’s almost how I work best, by using the controlled lines in my drawings. Overall, I’m very happy with this drawing. Again, I feel like a lot of the cobwebs finally got off my fingers and now I feel like I can produce some nice quality artwork.
