Here is another design of Sosumi Nakamura, one of my characters from my comic, Romancing Dragon. In this picture I just decided to try and place her in more of a real world but yet a fantasy setting. As you can see I just placed her in some business clothing and placed her in front of a fancy car. Maybe in this scene she is a stock broker? Heck that is one expensive car she is in front of.
ThumbnailI’m placing this link up here because this picture is actually a redo from many years ago, back in 1999 or 2000, that I have done. The original picture has her in a slightly different pose because back in the day, I wasn’t good enough to draw her in the pose like I have her in today from the old reference picture that I used. So I decided to redo this because I lost the original CG file that I did many years ago because of a computer glitch. I explain it more in this old post from a few days ago.
So, today I decided to try and redo this picture. Things are different in this one because a lot of the original files that I had for this one were lost and also the original font was missing too. I don’t even remember what it was called so I can go searching for it. And a lot of the effects that I used are different because I also forgot the process I used when I originally created this piece. So I forgot a lot of things from the original, so in some aspects the new one is better and in others, the old one I did back in the past is better. So the main thing I think is better in the old one id the way the font came out and the background. In the new one I like how the drawing was done better and I also like how things blend in a bit better in this one verses the older one.
Overall, I’m very happy how the new drawing came out. I could have done better on the background but overall, the whole drawing is a good one and one that I am very happy with. Your welcome to comment on this drawing so go ahead and say what you want to say. So it’s off onto the next drawing! :)
