So again I welcome you to Jimmy’s World and I am happy that you have taken an interest in what the site is all about. So basically I am going to give you the basic run down of the site, a little about me, and a brief history of the site. So lets get started!

The Main Purpose of Jimmy’s World
The reason why Jimmy’s World was created is just to show off my artwork. That is it. It’s plain and simple as it can be. For you long time visitors, you will know that I have tried different things in the past but what this site is all about is my artwork. =)
A Little Bit About the Artist
Okay, this is where I tell you a little about myself. My real name is Brian Aultz. Baby Jimmy is just a nickname I have picked up over the years, as you will learn about in the history section. So some of the things I like to do is drawing comics, anime, and just whatever comes to me, well obviously. I also like to read comics, watch anime and movies, and read books when I can. I also like to get outside when I can so when I do I like to go walking and hiking. I really love to get on my bicycle and go for a ride in the neighborhood. I do work for a living at a job I will not mention because I hate it. I’d rather be drawing and doing my art for a living. So with that, I am always looking to better myself in my art because I want to go ahead and make this my career. =)
The History of Jimmy’s World
Well, this can be a long story so I will try to make this short. Jimmy’s World got started back in 1997 and was hosted by GeoCities back in the day. I was cheep and had no money so a free hosting site was just perfect. But really the history goes back even father than that. Like how did I come up with Jimmy’s World as the name of this site?
It was back in High School for me back during 1989 to 1993 (My age is starting to show now). I met a couple of friends during those days that inspired me to draw a lot. I’ve always loved to draw but I started doing it more during those years. Making comics of my friends and me doing crazy stuff and just having funs in our minds blowing up the high school. Yeah if anyone from the staff saw those comics today, we would have been sent to a mental institute to have our heads examined.
Well anyway, it was during these years where I created a dragon character I called Jim. He was kind of my action hero in some of the comics I created. Well over the years I developed this character even more and to give him more depth I created a son for him named Baby Jimmy. He was a very annoying brat that tormented Jim. It got to the point where we started making voices for the characters and when I did the voice of Baby Jimmy, well, lets just say the rest was history. So Baby Jimmy was born.
So after High School I wanted to continue on with my art and developing my skills so I enrolled into the local community college and it was there I started to really think of art as a career choice. Or at least hone in the skills I needed to become a better artist. So it was there I started learning Illustration and Graphic Design. I loved it so much!
While I was there however, I wanted to expand my knowledge skills and it was there I discovered a class for Web Design. I also fell in love with this. We were using the program Adobe Page Mill to do the designing. It was a simple program but I was learning the power of using the Internet with my artwork. It wasn’t to far from this when Jimmy’s World was born!
I was a newbie with all this stuff. I really didn’t get my first computer until the end of 1998! When I was creating Jimmy’s World I was using the school’s computers and occasionally the computer at my good friend’s work place that he had access to.
So Jimmy’s world was born and I was using GeoCities to host it. Well I discovered the horrors of designing around that place so when I finally was working enough to afford it, I got a hosting provider and knew what real freedom on the net really was.
Jimmy’s world has been through numerous site designs in the past. Lets just say I’ve lost count on how may designs it has gone through. I love designing websites and it shows on this website too. I love artwork and art in general. I love all kinds of art and I am glad you are here to share this experience with me.
So now that this is over, lets continue the journey through my world of insanity that I have created. I’m sure you will enjoy the journey as I have making it! =)
