Well, with this particular picture what I did was really meant to start out as a pen and ink sketch out of my sketch book and then I took it a step further by pulling out my old color pencils that I have and decided to give them a try. Now, I’m really not an expert on color pencils, and I never really was. It was something to just fill in any gaps that I might have had. Also for anything else that I needed color pencils for.
But anyway, I think this is probably my third ever full coloring in color pencil that I have. I think I will have to check my archives of old drawing that I have but I think this is #3 in my collection. And why is it named Hello Candy? I really don’t know. Maybe this young girl has discovered a bowl of chocolates and that is what she is saying when she sees it and that was how I named it. So there. I told you all that my way I come up with names for my work is out there. Hehehe… =D
